Caustic Soda
Caustic Soda, also known as Sodium Hydroxide, is one of the most fundamental strong bases and a critical inorganic chemical raw material. At room temperature, the pure product is a white, opaque solid, commonly available in flakes (flake caustic), pearls (granular), blocks, and also as a high-concentration liquid (liquid caustic). It is highly hygroscopic and corrosive, readily dissolving in water with significant heat release. As a bulk basic chemical, caustic soda is the “staple food” of modern industry, and its production and consumption are key indicators of a nation's chemical industry level. It is widely used in almost all core industrial fields such as the chemical industry, textile, papermaking, metallurgy, daily chemicals, and water treatment.
